Ambassadors
The Miss Tri-Cities Ambassador Program is a non-competitive mentoring program for girls aged 12-13 who want to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to become a future candidate in the Miss Tri-Cities Scholarship Program. Or, to simply build interpersonal and professional life skills.
Ambassadors will work on self-confidence and self-care and will build interpersonal and professional life skills. They will learn about choosing a Talent and Community Service Initiative (CSI) that fits their interest and passion.
Ambassadors will participate in MTC fundraisers, events, workshops and candidate interviews. They will also join our Teen and Miss contestants on stage during the production number and will participate in a short on-stage group interview.
Requirements:
- 12-13 years old
- Personal commitment to attend required workshops, rehearsals and events
- Personal statement identifying what you can do to help in your community? (300-500 words)
Expectations:
- Attend required workshops, rehearsals and events
- Recruit at least one community member to join the Crown Club ($100)
- Purchase or recruit someone else to purchase two fundraising Gala Tickets ($75)
Outfit Needs:
- Casual Outfit: white shorts – white socks – white athletic shoes
- Cocktail Dress: For on stage production number and fundraising Gala (options will be provided)
- Mock Interview: Age-appropriate interview dress or pants/skirt and a shirt
- On Stage Interview: Full length gown
Costs:
- $125 Registration Fee to cover costs associated with the program
