Miss Tri-Cities Scholarship Program is an official preliminary to Miss Washington and Miss America. The Miss America program is the largest provider of scholarship dollars for young women today. In general, a contestant must:

• Ages 18–28
• Must be no younger than 18 by Sept. 1, 2026
• Must be no older than 28 by Sept. 30, 2026
• Be a United States citizen·
• Single
• Be a female
• No legal dependents
• Meet residency requirements for competing·
• Be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements·
• Be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities
• Register with Miss America – $49.99 ​
• Register with American Heart Association Spotfund  – $30 fundraising required​
• Recommend $300 in program book ads
